Your Swego must be registered at enregistrement@swego.net in order to file a claim.
Co2zero Inc. provides a partial warranty of the T6 6061 aluminum frame against manufacturer’s defects from the date of purchase. The warranty is valid only if the Swego is used following the manufacturer’s recommendations.
*Limited warranty:
- All frames are covered against perforation and corrosion for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
- The finish (paint) and decals are covered for one year against manufacturer’s and performance defects. Normal wear and tear is not covered.
- The seat base, handlebar extension, seat and handlebars are covered for one year.
Warranty period for parts:
The components, gears, brakes, wheels, etc. are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranty.
Items not covered by the Swego warranty:
- A. Normal wear and tear on tires, air tubes, brakes, brake cables, etc.
- B. Damage caused by an accident, misuse or abuse.
- C. Improper installation and/or lack of adequate maintenance, sanding, buffing, grinding, brushing, filing, welding, soldering, drilling, anodizing or chrome plating that violate the recommendations of the warranty and potentially void the part manufacturer’s warranty.
- D. Individuals who ride on “extreme” trails, such as mountain bike trails, motocross trails, railings, BMX trails; jump; ride down stairs; or ride on similar terrain threaten their own safety and potentially void their warranty. Note that bent components such as the frame, handlebars, seat base, seat, pedals, crank and rims are evidence of accidents or abuse.
- E. This warranty is limited to replacement of defective parts at no additional charge. Under no circumstance will the company be responsible for damage potentially caused by defective parts.
- F. Labour.
What will void your Swego warranty:
- A. Using your Swego for competition (e.g. racing) or any other business activity, e.g. rental, courier service or patrol (including police).
- B. Modifying components or replacing parts with parts other than those originally installed or recommended by Swego.
- C. Purchasing a Swego from an unauthorized retailer.
Submitting a warranty claim to Swego:
- A. Contact us at 1-888-456-4008 or reclamation@Swego.net.
- B. You must provide your original receipt as proof of purchase of your Swego.
- C. If the frame must be returned to the factory, we will inform you on the procedure to follow as all components must be removed from the Swego, including pedals, before being sent.
- D. Swego reserves the right to repair or replace any defective part.
Limitation of liability: This is an integral warranty, complete and final, for Swego frames. Swego does not authorize any other person, including authorized Swego retailers, to assume or grant, expressly or implicitly, any or all addition(s) or extension(s) to the warranty specified herein. Any other obligation or responsibility expressed by any other person(s) and any demonstration or illustration of Swego frames is in no way linked to Swego and is furthermore excluded from this warranty.
Swego assumes no liability in case of any property damage, moral or bodily injury to the user, buyer or any other person(s) resulting from the use of a Swego frame or one of its components. Except as limited or expressly forbidden by law, regarding any other condition or guarantee, express or implied, based in law, established commercial customs and usage, including but not limited to guarantee of merchantability or adaptation to a specific accessory or consecutive damages that may occur in connection with said Swego. With regard to the exercising of rights resulting from the present warranty, the buyer of a Swego frame agrees to elect domicile in the judicial district of ALMA, in the Province of Quebec, Canada, as an appropriate place for the hearing of all claims or legal proceedings.
